Many experts go around claiming how the expensive brands are the best when it comes to products like toothbrushes, saucepans or even vacuums. The team at The Sweethome recently did hours and hours of testing to find how for sure whether or not the expensive products were really that better than the cheaper versions.

Well they found out that some cheaper options are actually better than their expensive versions! Save some well earned dough with these cheaper versions from anything to tea steepers, laundry baskets, sunscreen, pairing knives, saucepans and even chin-up bars!

1. Tea Steeper

The actual best tea steeper, according to The Sweethome, costs only $10. Finum’s Brewing Basket’s ultra-fine mesh gives maximum room for leaves to expand (which gives the tea lots of flavor), but still filters out even the tiniest specks of tea. In their tests, it beat similar models that were twice as expensive.
