Hey all! I haven't posted here in a while because I have been absolutely swamped. I figured should take a second and let everyone know what is going on with the site and what to expect in the future.

First: Yes the site was put up for auction. And yes there was a winning bidder, however, the deal fell through. Which I think is for the best since I really would have hated to have seen the site go and lose control over it.

I put the site up for auction because there is a little too much on my plate right now and I feel a bit over extended. I didn't want to have to site suffer do to my lack of availability or commitment.

Now that I am definitely hanging on to the site (no more mid meltdown sale tries I promise!), I couldn't be happier. I am still a little over loaded with work and commitments right now and probably will be until the end of this year.

I am working towards a duel degree for engineering (mechanical and electrical) right now and finals have been brutal. Throw that on top of a job change, full time work, making time for the family, and freelance commitments and it starts to add up. I am sure a lot of the users of this site can sympathize and relate.

There are only so many hours in the day and you know it has gotten bad when your eyes still wont open even after your second venti latte of the day (I still love Starbucks, sue me).

I have been working on a redesign for the site that is WAAAYYY more user friendly and more professional looking. I am slowly doing away with ads for the time being as making money shouldn't be the first priority of this site. I really like the redesign I came up with and hope to have it implemented as soon as finals are over. I also have a lot of great features planned to make this site a better place for the community as a whole.

I should also have an embeddable voting button for your sites by the end of this year. I have been having a lot of request for that lately and am definitely trying to get that done. The growth of the site has continued at an amazing rate and we get tons of new community members everyday so hopefully traffic will continue to increase for all you publishers out there submitting your links.

Let me know if any of you have suggestions/questions/concerns, or anything like that. I am very easily accessible and open to making this site better.
