Former engineer, Bruce Campbell has spent $200,000 upcycing Retired Boeing 727 to make a home in the woods. He spends half of each year living in a plane surrounded by beautiful forest trees in the woods. Bruce bought the Retired Boeing 727 which is a 3 engine commercial jetliner, he is living in the Oregon Woods on 10 aces of land which he bought in his 20’s. Altogether the plan, interior work and land totalled to roughly $243,000.
Looking at the jetliner, it’s still complete with it’s wings, landing gears but sits in the woods rather than an aeroplane junk yard. The interior of the plane has changed quite a lot with making it a more livable home environment. Bruce plans to improve the aeroplane  starting with the inside features such as the lavatory, LED lighting and seating.
