Danny Cooke is a filmmaker who recently had the opportunity to visit Pripyat and Chernobyl earlier this year https://gamma-travel.com/. He used a drone to capture some haunting footage of the radioactive ghost towns. These towns were left by civilization in a hurry and were overtaken by nature after the nuclear disaster in 1986.

This footage is quite bone chilling and eery, Danny worked with CBS News ro capture the footage made for a one hour length news segment.  The video was released a few days a go and is titled “Postcards from Pripyat, Chernobyl”. Danny writes:

Chernobyl is one of the most interesting and dangerous places I’ve been, during my stay, I met so many amazing people, one of whom was my guide Yevgen, also known as a ‘Stalker’. We spent the week together exploring Chernobyl and the nearby abandoned city of Pripyat. There was something serene, yet highly disturbing about this place. Time has stood still and there are memories of past happenings floating around us.
