In Paris some grey city walls were decorated into a vertical garden by Patrick Blanc. He installed this Vertical Garden on September 10th, 2013 as part of Paris Design Week which ran from September 9th to 15th. This breathtaking vertical garden was named, Oasis of Aboukir and was installed on the corner of Aboukir Street and Petits Carreaux Street in Paris.
Taking 7 weeks to grow, Patrick Blanc also works at the French National Centre for Scientific Research and has previously designs numerous vegetable walls and other continents. He currently has more works in progress. Are you a fan of vertical gardens?
