Artist Kat O’Sullivan has been upcycling clothing over the past 20 years. Recently the artist bought a home located in upstate New York which was built in 1840. She wanted the house to be more vibrant and stand out more, so she decided to visit a local pain shop. Using an unlimited range of colours she tranformed her Dull Shack into a Psychedelic Rainbow House.

She states:

It seems like anything within my grasp ends up painted a million colors

Kat spent many hours painting and renovating her home until it looked like a Psychedelic Rainbow House, filled with oddly shaped windows, eyes and a mouth. She calls her home, Calico. She says her home will always be a work in progress and it will only get weirder!
