Israel based design firm, OGE Creative Group, have created a new couch idea they say is “new and inspiring socializing space: a fusion of furniture and playground where ideas come to get incubated”. Usually when we think of a Bird’s Nest we think of twigs and hard materials, but they’ve made a giant birds nest couch for humans super soft and cozy!
Made from foam-padded wooden backwall that’s covered with wooden panels and filled with egg-shaped cushions, the birds nest allows you to sit in all sorts of ergonomic sitting positions.
The Gigantic Birds Nest is a multifunctional piece of furniture which is used for resting, reading, talking, socializing and browsing the web. The couch comes in four different sizes, (ranging from 2,700 – 7,900 Euros) and at it’s largest size can accomodate up to 16 adults and one time!
