One time, I had some blood drawn in a laboratory. I told the nurse that I normally faint whenever I come across needles. In the past, I would have already convinced the nurse to lay me down on a bed so that they could draw the blood without me fainting.
This nurse was very helpful, but the only place they could lay me down was in the gynecology department. During the process of drawing blood, the nurse suggested that I put my legs on the stirrups. It was very awkward.
