My boyfriend and I were looking at apartments to move in together (a first for both of us.) I casually brought it up at dinner with his parents, which I had assumed that my boyfriend had already told them. Well, he didn’t.
Anyway, I started applying for jobs in the same area my boyfriend’s family lived in, because he had suggested that we move in with them to save money- so I started preparing for that possibility. Once I got a job in that area, his dad said to me: “Yeah, but where would you live?” Come to find out, my boyfriend, once again, had never told his parents about these plans. We are no longer dating.
