#20 Not A Puppy Hair
At my new church, I was chatting with two women after the service. One of them was very lovely, who I ended up becoming great friends with. The other one was slightly older; very uptight and with kids my age. While we were talking, the middle-aged woman went up to the older woman and removed a white long hair from her face. “Oh you have a puppy hair on you,” she said as she pulled the hair from her face… Turns out it was attached. As soon as she felt the tug of the hair she stopped and left it on her face. After she turned around, she gave me a quick look, and then she walked away. She left me, and I had no idea what to do or say.
To make conversation, I ended up asking the older woman if she liked dogs… It was all I could come up with, at the time.
