This is a part of your home where the decoration really comes into play. Bare walls can have a bit of a negative impact on the space that you’re cultivating, potentially leaving the rooms at your disposal with a certain lack of impact. That’s not to say that you need to necessarily take the maximalist approach and cover all your walls from head to toe, but making the most of the vertical space that you have could bring a life and flavor to your home environment that it’s currently lacking.

What About the Furniture?
It’s important that you don’t forget about the furniture in all of this. While these aspects of your home can feel purely functional, the way that you go about decorating them can make a massive impact on your home as a whole and reflect the best features of the design scheme around them. For example, you might find that your sofa is something that you find a great amount of comfort in, but is a block color that might clash with the rest of the room. In this case, a throw can help it to blend in more easily and feel more at home. Similarly, bed sheets might not be something that you think too much about, but there are any number of aesthetics that can be represented through these.
