Sometimes we’ll go into a room or office that showcases bizarre and strange decor ideas that aren’t usually seen. They can occasionally be a great success or huge disaster.
Today we’ll be looking at the strange and silly decor from Lyft which is a popular ride sharing service with offices in cities all around the US.
Their San Francisco-based HQ is packed with all sorts of fun and quirky decor we just had to share you! Featuring some whacky ideas like an elevator covered in pink velvet, illustrated and quote based wall art and a wall covered in vintage style frames!
There are also some strange furniture and decoration ideas that seem to fit in with the whole decor!

Instead of defaulting to motivational posters, Lyft decided to make four art installations that captured the message and spirit behind the core values.

You could even play around with the theme of going one place to another!

6. Experiment with uniquely-shaped picture frames.
On Lyft’s gallery wall, every memory stands out individually!
7. Furniture doesn’t need to match.
The midcentury-inspired couch makes the space look modern, while the wooden coffee table adds a bit of flair.
8. Light up your team spaces.
Illuminated letters are a fun, contextual alternative to string lights! For example, this room belongs to the T&S (Trust & Safety) team.
9. Use illustrations instead of portraits!
With illustrations, you can be a bit more expressive, and add embellishments that channel your inner robot or superhero.
10. Think outside the pot!
Instead of a potted plant, bring some life to your space with more unique forms of green.
