Many girls grow up who have been inspired to look like Barbie, however Nickolay Lamm decided to demonstrate just how unrealistic Barbie looks. Comparing the doll’s proportions to that of the usual 19 year old woman (as determined by the CDC), Nickolay set out to create a 3d printed Barbie which had a normal body shape.
Th results were quite fascinating and shows that now only does the original Barbie exceed the woman’s average height, it also look anorexic! With Barbie’s head being so huge it would physically be impossible for her to walk if she were a real woman.
