Taveras, chief of general pediatrics at MassGeneral Hospital for Children in Boston, discusses that introducing children early to healthy eating is exceptionally important, “Our early taste preferences, particularly for fruits and vegetables, and on the flip side for sugary beverages, are lasting.”
