How Our Famous City Landmarks Will Fall After a Zombie Apocalypse

How the zombie apocalypse might take its toll on The Taj Mahal in India. Zombies would happily destroy the Taj Mahal too. Zombies care little for the state of the economy in India.

Times Square in New York City is renowned worldwide as one of the most commercial and hip tourist centers found in Midtown Manhattan. Times Square is home to all the major restaurants, shopping brands and department stores whether it comes to fashion, tech and anything else you might care to mention.

They sure love the neon in the United States. Times Square is a busy junction at all times of day. The amazing neon life size billboard lights at night is what makes Time Square different from other commercial areas in the world. Although other cities such as Las Vegas are catching up in the neon light department it is Times Square that nails it once the sun sets.

With zombies wreaking havoc in this area of New York, all the tall buildings and awesome looking malls that so perfectly define Times Square would be reduced to dust and grimy rubble in no time at all. The neon lit streets of the square and immediate area would be littered with the battered debris of crushed cars, buses and trucks.

High end sports cars would stand abandoned or completely destroyed. All that would remain would be burnt out commerce areas, bars and restaurants. Zombie ravaged buildings strewn of lights and broken billboards going haywire as they malfunction or lose power.

Only time will tell, whether the zombies really exist or are just a figment of someone’s vivid but creative imagination. However right now you know all too scarily just how the world and its unforgettable landmarks and attractions would probably appear after a apocalyptic zombie horde have run riot. Try and imagine how your home city might appear after being decimated by the walking dead.

If the thought of traveling across a desolate, zombie ravaged wasteland with collapsed, ruined landmarks and wonders of the world scares you, it should. The collapse of society in apocalypse is best left for the big screen, in print and in the mind.

Final Thought

If you do not fear the walking dead by now then you are a brave traveler indeed. Fortunately in the early 21st century the spectre of a zombie apocalypse is yet to be inflicted upon humanity. In reality a zombie apocalypse such as that depicted in the television drama series such as ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ is probably not going to happen. So the designs of man are safe for the time being.

That said a more moderate, in other words realistic possibility of the zombie apocalypse is not totally a vision of the future without any merit. The arrival of inexplicable new viruses or mutations of existing diseases is an alarming medical nightmare that every person must naturally fear.

Certainly it would be a disaster and a shame if our once proud and pristine landmarks around the world were to crumble into dust in the wake of unexpected human demise. Food for thought travelers of the world.
