If you’re a fan of the Grimm’s Fairy Tales, you’ll enjoy these photographic illustrations of brothers Grimm’s homeland. Created by Germany-based photographer Killian Schoenberger, who has a passion for mystical landscapes, he decided to create a set of ghostly and murky photography illustrations of the Brothers Grimm’s fairy-tales.

Shot in remote and rural locations of Middle Europe, he took these beautiful photographs which contain creepy photos. Although he is colour blind, that didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream, with each photograph he started concentrating more on the structure and composition of the scene. If you’re a fan of the TV Show, Grimm, you’ll certainly love these photographs of the Brothers Grimm’s Homeland. Killian states:

“I think there is a deep longing for tranquil naturalness among people in our technology- driven environment. Therefore, I don’t want to show just portrayals of natural scenes. I want to create visually accessible places where the visitor can virtually put his mind to rest. Possibly this is the real benefit of my work – resting places for the eyes in an overstimulated world”.
