Remember we told you about the first encounter between Dakotah and the wolf? Turned out it indeed was love at first sight. Nick Jans told the National Geographic that he was nervous when Dakotah slipped from his grasp and ran toward Romeo, stopping face to face. But it was also a sign that the majestic black beast had fallen for her. He was aptly named Romeo.
Why was Romeo such a unique wolf?
