Graffiti Artist Sprays Geometric Tiles on Abandoned Buildings’ Floors
You may not know this but stencils and spray paints make for a fantastic replacement for tiles. This creative idea was brought to life by Javier de Riba. He got the idea when he started going to abandoned buildings and decided to paint some beautiful geometric patterns on the floor.
These geometric patterns surprisingly transformed these old buildings into some quite wonderful! He starts these patterns by laying down a layer of paint, then spray painting the patterns each color at a time. The process makes for a stunning floor tiling effect which replaces the need for tiles.
Javier has always been into Art & Crafts and enjoys creating are that focuses on sustainability and humane treatments. He says:
Each piece challenges his aesthetic, driving him to try new styles and techniques while balancing his existing abilities with his desire for growth and exploration.
