Office Supplies You May Need At Home

Whether you are about to start your home office or not, there are some office supplies that you will find useful in all circumstances. Below you can find a list of office supplies you might buy online or in a stationery shop.

1. Pens, pencils

Can you imagine a home without a pen? Writing down a shopping list, important information from a phone call or simply leaving a note for other household members – it’s literally impossible to exist without at least one of those office supplies. If you also get a pencil, don’t forget about eraser (small one can be placed on the pencil) and sharpener.

2. Highlighters

They can be used to mark most important information when reading a book or studying. Pick the colors you like and use highlighters whenever you need them.

3. Scissors

It’s impossible to live without scissors! Obviously, you can open a package with a knife, but it’s way harder to cut a piece of paper or a dressing plaster without scissors. Keep in mind, that there are models for both people using left or right hand to give you the best comfort while cutting something.

4. Sticky notes

Do you like leaving messages for your family? Or maybe you are looking for a way to memorize your notes in a more efficient way? In both cases, there is an amazing solution: sticky notes, which can be bought at Staples.

5. Notebooks

Notebooks can be used pretty much in every home. It doesn’t really matter, if children live with you – notebook can serve many purposes: it can be used for jotting down recipes, jotting down contact details, recording important meetings or making personal notes.

6. Stapler

We can bet you have some documents which should be stored together and yet, they are pretty much everywhere at this point. Thanks to a stapler, you can bind them together and put in one place – it makes them way more accessible.

7. Tape (preferably with a dispenser)

Tape is a really useful office supply, which might be used in many situations. We won’t mention them all, because we are pretty sure you can think of best ways to use tape yourself, but keep in mind that it’s a great idea to get it with a dispenser. It’s cleaner, easier to get exactly the right amount of tape and make storing it more convenient.

8. Furniture used in offices

Your home won’t be the same without office furniture used everyday: a desk or a chair for a start. While you can write down information sitting in front of the dining table, it’s way more comfortable. Thus, if you have enough space and tend to type down many information (or just use your laptop at home) – get an ergonomic chair and a good desk for yourself.

9. Document folder

It doesn’t matter if you live alone or with other family members, whether you own the house or just rent it – one thing is sure: you probably have tons and tons of important documents which you have to keep for at least a couple of years. Get some document folders: thanks to those storing all the stuff will be easier!

10. Storage boxes

Storage boxes can be used for pretty much the same reason as the document folders. You can store papers or other important things in them, keeping everything tidy and in one place.
